Community Guidelines

German Version
With the goal of promoting eSports in the region, it is important for us to set a good example. Accordingly, we have defined guidelines that all players who associate themselves with eSports Erlangen or want to participate in tournaments from eSports Erlangen must adhere to.
Community Guidelines
- Use only English or German for communication.
- Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, witch hunts, sexism, racism or hate speech will not be tolerated.
- Do not spam or self-promote (server invites, advertisements, etc) without a corresponding permission. This includes direct messages to other server members.
- If you see something that is against the rules or you feel unsafe, let the staff know. We want this server to be a welcoming place for everyone!
- Do not distribute NSFW or obscene content. This includes text, images, or links that contain nudity, sex, harsh violence, or other graphically disturbing content.
- Avoid conversations with religious or political content.
Competitive Integrity
- Smurfing:
a) Is not allowed in any ESE tournament.
b) Is not allowed in official games (except Clash) under association with ESE.
- Account Sharing:
a) Is not allowed in any ESE tournament.
b) Of an account of an ESE player or by an ESE player is not allowed in official games.
- Other Fraud/Cheating:
a) No tolerance, even outside the ESE boundaries.
Affected games in general:
Games played without the consent of all parties actively involved.
Official games:
All games held as part of a league,tournament format or other competition that serve to measure ability are considered official games.
Association with ESE:
As soon as a direct connection between a person/team and the eSports Erlangen e.V. or member can be drawn. Ex: Icons, names, tags, statements.
